Basic functioning of Routerlogin WGR614
Once you start capacity to the router, these sequences should occur:
- When power is first applied, verify that the Power LED is on.

If the error persists in Routerlogin WGR614, you have an equipment problem and should contact technical support.
LED’s Never Turn Off
Once the router is turned up, the LEDs turns on for around 10 seconds and then turn off. If most of the LEDs remain on, there’s a mistake within the router. If all LEDs remain on:
- Cycle the power to see if the router recovers.
- Clear the router’s configuration to factory default settings. This may set the router’s IP address to 192.168.0.1. This procedure is explained in “Restoring the Default Configuration and Password”.
If the error came, you may have a hardware issue and should contact technical support.
LAN or WAN Port LED’s Not On
If either the LAN LED’s or WAN LED don’t light once, the Ethernet connection is manufactured, you have to check these:
- Ensure that the Ethernet contacts are secure at the router and at the workstation.
- Be sure that power is turned on to the connected workstation.
- Make sure you are utilizing the correct cable: When connecting the router’s WAN port to a wire or DSL modem, utilize the cable properly. This cable is actually a Routerlogin standard straight-through Ethernet cable.
